OUR STORY
Jim and Christy Lee purchased the farm in September of 2018 and began renovating immediately. The 5000 square foot barn was originally built in 2002 and designed for two living quarters on each end with a drive through garage in the middle. The north end of the barns living quarters had been completed but the south end was never finished. The barn had been vacant for two years and housed exotic animals from the last occupant. The south end of the barn has been completely transformed into a lovely event space to host weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, family reunions, proms, and more.
The property is roughly 40 acres of mature trees, rolling hills and numerous ponds. The Ponds at Mable Farms is named after the late Mable Marie Calvert, the loving mother of Christy Lee. The Lees were inspired from their son and daughter in law when they struggled to find a venue that fit their overall needs. They soon realized that it is not an easy task finding the perfect venue and getting everything you want when you are trying to accommodate your wish list and stay within your budget. After planning their wedding in east Texas and doing almost everything themselves is when the idea was brought to their attention for a new business adventure. The Venue officially opened in the fall of 2019. Jim and Christy along with two of their six children and grandchildren live on the farm!

Nestled near the Arbuckle Mountains, The Ponds at Mable Farms is a picturesque forty-acre wedding and event venue conveniently located fifteen minutes northeast of Ardmore, Oklahoma. The barn features a timeless rustic, industrial, shabby chic farmhouse feel with a little French-quarter elegance. Bare wood and gorgeous white shiplap interiors create a stunning space for your special day.

BEFORE THE CEREMONY
Part of making a beautiful event memorable is what happens before the event even starts! These are some of the ways we strive to meet our clients’ needs leading up to you event.
Our grounds are perfect for engagement and wedding photo shoots
Upon availability a one to two-hour rehearsal time is available for scheduling. (depending on rental package)
We are excited to help prepare for the “big day” …. even on your big day!
Our venue offers a stunning bridal suite equipped with 5 hair and makeup stations and a full bathroom. Don’t leave the guys out! We also offer a masculine mancave for the guys.
THE CEREMONY
We offer two dedicated outdoor ceremony sites and an indoor climate-controlled facility.
Our large, spacious outdoor ceremony space surrounded by mature trees creates a breathtaking backdrop for any outdoor event.
If wide open space is what you are looking for then a front lawn overlooking a natural pond will give you that perfect country feel.
Our barn can be used for an indoor ceremony or reception area.
We provide bench seating for outdoor events and wood cross back farmhouse chairs for indoor use.
THE RECEPTION
Our facility includes a climate-controlled area along with several amenities too make your reception experience enjoyable.
